Membrane filter press consists of membrane filter plate and chamber filter plate arranged to form a filter chamber, the slurry is fed into the filter chamber under the pressure of feeding pump, and the solids and liquids in the slurry are separated through the filtering medium (filter cloth), when the solids in the slurry form a cake, then air is fed into the membrane to press the solids inside the chamber sufficiently to reduce the water content.
Pneumatic or hydraulic pressure can be used, and the pressure of hydraulic pressure can be 0.8-4.0MPa.
The pressure level is divided into 0.8-1.6Mpa for conventional membrane press, and 2.0-4.0Mpa for ultra-high-pressure membrane press to meet the needs of different working conditions.
