Filter press after compression and maintenance, under the action of pressure, the filter slurry is
forced to pass through the filter media, solid particles are retained on the media, the liquid passes through the filter media, so as to achieve the purpose of separating the liquid from the solid.
Filter press mainly consists of frame, hydraulic system, electric control system, filter plate and auxiliary equipment to form a system.
The frame of the filter press is composed of frame, thrust plate and compression plate, and the material of the frame is Q345B national standard type steel plate. The frame is made of Q345B national standard steel plate, which is polished and sandblasted later, and then assembled.
The electric control cabinet of the filter press is controlled by PLC, in which the frequency
converter adopts AB frequency converter, the electrical original adopts Astronergy or Schneider
brand, and the proximity switch adopts OMRON brand. The accessories are all of first-line
brands, with quality assurance.
PROCESS FLOW
Single chamber feeding air through flow filter press adopts air through flow method to distribute
the slurry evenly on the filter cloth, and pressurize the slurry through the pressure air pipe,
so that the liquid passes through the filter cloth, while the solid stays on the filter plate and
forms the filter cake.
The filtrate is discharged through the filtrate outlet pipe, while the cake is discharged through the cake discharge pipe.
1. Feeding: First of all, we need to enter the material to be filtered into the single chamber feeding air-through-flow filter press through the material conveying equipment.
2. Compressed air: when the material enters into the single chamber feeding air-through-flow filter press, compressed air will be injected into the equipment, the pressure of the air will gradually increase, thus creating a strong pressure difference, so that the material in the liquid and solid separation.
3. Separation: The compressed air sweeps through the material inside the equipment and separates the liquid from the material. The separated liquid will be discharged out of the equipment, while the solids will remain inside the equipment.
4. Unloading: When the solid in the material to be filtered reaches a certain amount, we need to
carry out the unloading operation. At this time, we need to open the discharge port of the equipment to unload the solids inside the equipment , so as to complete a filtration and separation process.
