Principle for Rotary Electro Coagulation Sewage Treatment

1. Flocculation Principle: Soluble anode such as iron, aluminium and other anodes, through the DC, the anode loses electrons, the formation of metal cations Fe2+, AI3+, and the solution of OH metal hydroxide HIgh activity, strong adsorption capacity, with the raw water of colloids, suspended solids, soluble contaminants, bacteria, viruses, such as the formation of larger flocs.

2. Flotation Principle: When the voltage reaches the decomposition voltage of water in the electrolysis process, hydrogen and oxygen are respectively precipitated on the cathode and the anode, and the generated gas is in the form of tiny bubbles with an extremely high degree of dispersion. Electrocoagulation bubbles are much smaller than air bubbles generated by pressurized air flotation, so its flotation ability is stronger, and the removal of pollutants is also better.

3. Oxidation Principle: Electrolysis process, the anode loses electrons to generate  a new strong oxidizing agent active substance O, CI2, etc., the use of active substances so that pollutants lost electrons, from the role of oxidation and decomposition, in order to reduce the BOD5, CODcr, ammonia nitrogen and other liquid.

4. Reduction Principle: the electrolysis process, the pollutants directly on the cathode to obtain electrons and reduction, while the cations in the pollutants in the cathode to get electrons, making the electrolyte in the high or low price of metal cations in the cathode by the electron directly be =reduced to low Cation or metal precipitation.

Compared with the traditional chemical flocculation, flocculation has the characteristics of stable performance, automatic operation and high efficiency.
