We recommend that each unit be observed daily. The aerator should run quietly without excessive vibration. Also, note the flow of water and air from the aerator. Noise, vibration, and disrupted air/water are corrected before damage can occur to the aerator. flow rate is the indicator of operational problems. Daily observation will ensure that problems can be corrected before damage can occur to the aerator.
